The 36 Volt NiMH / NiCd Battery Pack (1.8 Ah) Smart Charger is a versatile and intelligent charger designed to charge 36V NiMH / NiCd battery packs with a capacity greater than 1800mAh. The charger utilizes a charging current of 1.8A pulse current and features a compact design with dimensions of 2.7"(69mm) x 3.6"(91mm) x 5"(127mm) and a weight of 1.3 lb (590 grams).

The charger is equipped with a universal smart charging system that is able to detect Minus delta V ( > 6 mV/cell) in order to cut-off power when the battery is fully charged. It also detects the temperature rising rate ( dT/dt), and if the battery pack temperature rises too fast, (>0.5oC/60S), the charger will reduce the charging current. The charger also features a T max. detection system, which will cut-off power if the pack's temperature exceeds 70oC. Additionally, the charger is equipped with overcharge and reverse polarity protection.

The charger comes with a 3 pins female cannon connector, and includes a connector adaptor from a 3 pin male cannon connector to Alligator clip with 10K thermistor (70oC) for connecting to the battery pack.
